I have special memories of him and Aunty Penny taking me to coffee and having a chat in one of the hardest times of my life. I remember him reading books to my girls and them giving him big cuddles… I remember his voice.

Not sure what the accent he had ended up being but his voice was WONDERFUL.

Something about it was so fun and full of life and so kind and loving. He was always smiling. He just OOZED out love for everyone no matter big or small, no matter who you were.

we will never forget the hospitality your dad, mom, and family accorded to us when we visited chiang rai, how despite meeting us for the first time in a worship service in chiang mai where your dad preached, your parents readily invited us and took us into your home when we went there a year ago

I have so many fun memories of Uncle Paul but one particular memory that has always stuck with me is from when I was a kid having a sleepover while you guys were living on the YWAM base in Melbourne. He came in to pray with us before going to sleep and I told him Aunty Penny had already come in and prayed, so he just said “Amen Lord, I agree!” I said “but you don’t even know what she said” and he said it didn’t matter as he and Aunty Penny were on the same page or something like that. For some reason that profoundly impacted me even as a 9yo, and I have remembered it vividly to this day. I think it really demonstrates the close relationship he and your mum had with each other and God

I can write a book about your Dad on how his life has blessed me and Casey without him I won’t be here today. God used him to help me lays down my foundation of faith in Jesus Christ and ministry till today. He taught me how to grow in Christ. And show me how his love for others, especially me he always made me feel like we’re family and he got my back no matter what happened. I might not like him many times and disagree, but I know he love me and want the best thing for me. I will miss him every day too!

Living on the same property as them I got the joy of every morning him walking down to the chickens. Wld say hi to me and then say good morning to the chickens “ hi girls good morning. Let’s see what we got today”. Man I will miss him.

His presence made people feel safe and deeply loves. I loved the moments sitting around a table with your mom and dad. We would tell stories and laugh for hours! Paul could always make Richard and I laugh. He was a great story-teller. And when we cried, Paul would speak words of life and comfort over us. There was nothing fake about that man. Just genuine compassion for others and zeal for Jesus.

Paul was our YWAM DTS leader, a time that forever marked us! He dedicated our youngest daughter, Audrey. I can picture his hand laying on Audrey’s head as he prayed.

He spoke words of life over our family multiple times as we waited for God to move mountains in our lives there. His faith was unwavering, which always encouraged us to keep trusting God!
