Remembering P’ Paul
When I think of P’ Paul, one of the memories that stays with me is from the season when I moved back to Thailand to serve God.
It was a difficult season. There were things I was carrying that I never shared with him—the struggles, the uncertainty, and the challenges I knew I had to walk through.
But P’ Paul was praying.
Somehow, in his prayer and sensitivity to God’s voice, he seemed to know what was ahead of me. He spoke words that I didn’t fully understand at the time. Then, as the journey unfolded, I found myself facing exactly the things he had spoken about.
I believe God was giving him insight as he prayed.
That was something special about P’ Paul. He listened to God, believed in people, and had a deep heart for emerging leaders. He understood that every stage of leadership brings its own challenges, and he knew how to encourage people with wisdom and grace.
For me, his words became a source of strength as I walked through that season. Looking back, I can see that God had prepared me through the encouragement P’ Paul gave me before I even knew what was ahead.
I am deeply grateful that God placed him in my journey.
P’ Paul, thank you for believing in me, for praying for me when you didn’t know what I was facing, and for listening to God on my behalf.
Your words became part of my story, and I will carry what you invested in me forward—by continuing to listen to God, believe in people, and encourage those who are still finding their way.
I will always be grateful that our paths crossed.
